MEDICAL LANE

10 tasks covering tactical combat casualty care: MEDEVAC requests, tourniquet application, CPR, heat injuries, bleeding control, chest wounds, and more.

M1 3 min + 25 sec + 1 min

MEDEVAC 9-Line Request

Transmit a complete 9-line MEDEVAC request. All 9 lines required.

M2 3 min + 9 min

Care Under Fire / Move Casualty

Return fire first, then treat. Tourniquet high and tight, time-stamp it.

M3 7 minutes

Restore Breathing / CPR

30:2 compression-to-ventilation ratio. Check pulse after rescue breaths.

M4 5 min + 5 min

Heat Injury

Heat stroke = aggressive cooling. Wet/fan/ice to neck, armpits, groin. Always MEDEVAC.

M5 5 minutes

Control Bleeding

Tourniquet for extremity. Hemostatic gauze for junctional wounds. 3 min direct pressure.

M6 1 min + 7 min

Spinal Injury & Shock

Immobilize spine. Shock = elevate legs (no spinal injury). Prevent heat loss.

M7 10 minutes

Occlusive Dressing / Needle Decompression

3-sided seal or vented device. NCD at 2nd intercostal, midclavicular.

M8 5 minutes

Open Head Wound (CBRN)

Maintain MOPP. Do NOT apply pressure to visible brain matter.

M9 7 minutes

Abdominal Wound & Eye Injuries

Do NOT push organs back. Cover both eyes for any eye injury.

M10 5 minutes

Fracture & Burn

Check CSM distal to fracture. Cool burns with water, not ice. No field ointments.
